Hi from Spain ... another Noobie!

Post by losaavedra » Tue Mar 15, 2011 6:48 pm

Hi all, My name's Mike and I've lived in Spain for 14 years. I've just joined 12bar ... nice to find a site more on how to do the music than just about gear, instruments, etc.! Some of the stuff I did a few years back can be found at ...

http://www.soundclick.com/rojalesbluesband

... also some bio details. Looking forward to exploring here.

More later probably

Mike

Welcome to 12bar Mike...
I'm sure you'll find lots of stuff to learn and expand your musical knowledge here, I know I do.

Gerd (the site's main dude) has spent a long time creating some of the lessons and information on the site which we are all very grateful for.

Check out the bluesroom part of the forum, that is where we share our songs and recordings.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys. I'm finding lots of interesting EC stuff here ... took me way back in time to '63 when I first saw the blues light at the Yardbirds/Sonny Boy recording at the Craw Daddy Club, Richmond on 8 December that year. After that it was every week at the Star in Croydon well into '64/65. EC awe then took me on to his Mayall excursion and after that to the early days of Cream in a tiny cellar club in Norwich ... and what a night that was. Those were the days!
Thanks again
Mike
