Hey All! Cool site! It is great to see a site focused on Blues and Blues-Rock guitar instead of thrash and shred like all the guitar magazines seem to cover.

Thanks for all the great instructional info, too!

I'm glad I found a site where others share the love of EC, Skydog, SRV, Buch and the Texas Cannonball!!!!!

Thanks for the welcome guys. It's cool to find a place to talk about the blues. My wife looks at me like I'm from another planet when I try to explain the difference in the "3 Kings". I just had a daughter 2 weeks ago and I am already playing blues for her. So hopefully someone else in the house learns to love the blues and not Lady Gaga!

 I was lucky - it was my wife that introduced me to blues just a couple of years or so ago, though I'm not sure she reckoned on it becoming the obsession it has in 2010! :alright:

Congratulations btw.

Catch them at an early age with the blues and they might grow up realising that singing can be done without autotune. :motz:

Interesting - I hadn't seen that video or heard anything about it either 12 bar - thanks for posting it.

Yup - you never can tell. I'd thought of Sandi Thom as just a pop singer. Then she cuts herself free of the record company to play what she wants to play and not what the publicity machine demands and with the support / help of Joe Bonamassa suddenly there's a PDG blues artist suddenly appeared from nowhere. :yikes:
