Hi from Indiana

Post by SlimShaggy » Mon Nov 05, 2012 1:46 pm

Hey all, I'm new here to the forum. Been playing for about 18 years now. I've played Marshalls most of that time but just recently have discovered the "tweed tone". I love the blues and am looking forward to making new friends here; cheers!

Howdy, Shaggydaddy. :welcome: to the best blues guitar forum on the web.
I checked out your RN page... some pretty hot stuff there. Like that shot of your studio. I used to want a Marshall stack, but then I got old... It is hard enough to get my tweed 4/10 in and out of the bar, and it's my lightest amp. :oldie:

Thanks, man! Yeah, the stack was overkill. I just bought a tweed deluxe and I'm waiting for it to get here; can't wait! BTW: I've settled on "JJ Shaggy" instead of "Shaggy Daddy" I'm not one of those wishy washy types, I just think it fits me better. Thanks for understanding :handshake:

:welcome: to 12bar JJ. A good place to go with a love of the blues. :D

The link to reverbnation seems to be down at the moment - I'll try later.

Discovering the Tweed tone - that's a very pleasant voyage of discovery.
