just saying hi

Post by gafarmer »

Howdy from Macon Ga home to a few good guitar players and a couple of legends.

I am retired and have taken the guitar back up .I played when i was a kid but dropped it as i got older now i am learning it all over again .But hey i do know theory now than i did when i was taking lessons as a kid.I was a young teen at the time of the Byron Pop Festival .I did get to hear Jimi play i just couldn't see him and living in Macon at that time i got to know a few good musicians.
As my name suggest i was a farmer until i retired.Dairy farmer.

:welcome: to the forum from a much colder (and smaller) town many miles away in Scotland.

Taking up the guitar again in later years is often mentioned as people join the forum. Hope you get to have fun with going back to guitar and hope you enjoy it here on the forum. :D

:welcome: from another retired guy.

It's a common story on this forum that somebody played guitar when young and is now returning to take it up later in life.

You'll find a lot of company here.

A big "hello" from me in Spain ...
kinda hot ... it's why I came
not much to do, 'cept play guitar
an' figure where the blue notes are.
This forum is the place to be ...
real friendly folk, as you'll soon see ...
who know their blues, an' quick to tell,
how to play stuff, really well.

That's enough of that, I could be here all day!! Have a great time here ...
