Re: Fallen, accousitc jam

Sure I do. Think of it : listen to reverb, you always hear the original sound to. With delay it's the same. Chorus is a bit less obvious, but since it's partly a delayed signal to. a tiny bit of chorus superimposed on a clean signal doesn't matter, it enrichens the sound. BTW: the Gmajor has a setti...

Reminds me of a tasteful acoustic jam on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". (In a good way  )
I hardly ever play acoustic into the computer, because I have crappy microphones.
Thanks BB, I have done a jam on that song to a couple of years ago. Loved it

Re: Fallen, accousitc jam

Works great, beautiful. I still wonder how you get this fantastic tone from guitar to PC. Thank you Gerd, was a fun little jam to do :) Mhh on the HowTo remark :  I used Little Sister : My Ibanez AE500e thinline accoustic's piezo pickup ( No microphones involved BB) - The guitar...

Fallen, accousitc jam

Felt like doing something different with the Fallen Backing.
Recorded another version of the Chord sequence. and after that jammed away on the second track.
Took out the really bad stuff :naughty: and this what was left. :D

Re: Fallen - take IV

Very atmospheric and a great flowing lead line! I like the shaping of the attack / decay of the lead guitar sounds and whatever you've done on the tasty tonal / fx side of things it's worked beautifully well for this track. Thanks a bunch VB. Well to be honest this is Cybie with F...

Re: NGD resulting in NAD!

VB, great looking and sounding guitar.
This time I like the Microphone only sound. it's much more natural sounding, which in my opinion fits the guitar best)

Love the playing

Re: NGD resulting in NAD!

Life is way too short to keep trying to make an incompatible guitar work for me. That's so true - I'm in Hospital after a not too serious surgery and just trying to get my New Smartphone working. Again no guitar for a while. Thanks for uploading those beautiful music, keeps me busy for a while. I'l...

Re: Bluefish Blues

My friend Raphael came to my place yestreday, in case we could play some music :icon_whoknows: He brought his lovely Lo Prinzi acoustic steel string guitar. I already had my G&L Asat Classic plugged into my Vox DA5 (modified cab to host a 10' Weber speaker). Later my son came and we finally got...

Re: Fallen

Falling is a good title, the descending bassline is what makes it special. Nice playing over the theme and again a killer tone. Went into your playlist and spent some time over there! Thanks Gerd, it's a nice chord sequence to experiment with some embellishments. Some work, some don't. I even may f...

Re: Fallen

I believe my old eyes must be failing. Missed seeing this post. I'll go along 110% with your comment about the simple but very effective chord progression. I think it fair to say, "first try" as it may be, your lead part makes it even more effective. Thanks VB, don't worry, I forgo...

Fallen

Last week I heard a tune again on Discovery channel and once more was stunned by the chord progression, simple but very effective.
Just had to record something over that progression. Am, Am/G, Am/F# /F(single notes)

Isn't much, just a first try

Re: Wow Windows 10

Yesterday I found out Win10 doesn't like the DVD writer I have in my desktop. It doens't like it at all. playing blind it is. Tried win 8 and 8.1 drivers to no avail. So if you have a HL-DT-ST-DVDRAM-GH40F, be prepared to be unable to use it. On the other hand, my laptop has a fingerprint scanner fo...
