That is beautiful. I love that tinted neck and of course the finish is one of a kind. Very impressive. I bet it sounds lovely too. It inspires me to try and build one myself. Not from scratch like yours but maybe a frankenstrat like Eric Clapton's old "Blackie".

When I had a strat I had the tone control wired for the bridge pickup and I liked it. As for the heavier string gauge and tuning down thing I never did that. I like to use plain old Ernie Ball Regular Slinky's (.010-.046) on electric guitars.

I live not far from were the fesitival is held. I think one person was badly hurt and the rest had minor injuries. The wind gusts were incredible but just only for a few minutes. I loved it! The sound on the video was good too. Gotta love that old vinatge gear sold by Sears. I have used old Silvertone and Harmony amps too. Heck when I was a kid in the 1970's all you could find were old Harmony tube amps...

That sounds really nice. You really have a nice tone and the recording is excellent. Nice swinging backing track too. I just listened to "Worried Life Blues". Good tune and you do a good job on it. I really liked the slapback echo effect you used on the drums too. It gives it a pretty authentic 1950's Chicago sound.
