Re: Eric Clapton Signature Amps
BadBluesPlayer, I have a Victoria 5112 which is a Tweed Champ with a 12" speaker. A single 10" speaker sounds too trebly to my ears. I like 10's in multiples, but not a single 10. If I was building a Champ, I'd stick it in a Tweed Deluxe cabinet with a 12" speaker. Assuming you can fi...

Re: Eric Clapton Signature Amps
Kalle, not to start an argument, but I'll take point to point any day of the week over PCB construction. Of course, I like to take amps apart to see how they work. It's much easier to see when things are wired rather than traced.

Re: Over the top...
Bb just seems to have THE touch for anything musical, no doubt. Certainly added a whole new dimension to Jimmy's tune.

The Tremolux really interest me. Buddy does make the Twinolux sound nice, as well.

Thanks for the kind words about my rig, Bb. It was my '57 Fender Tweed Pro with my LP Special plugged straight in. No pedals! No safety net!
Everything just felt right and comfortable...at least for that tune.

Benny amazes me. He sings well, and has a real rock 'n roll attitude on stage.
This tune just grows and comes together well. Job well done!

Oneeyedslide, ride the old Harley down and I'll make sure you have space in my garage to park it.

Re: Drama on the way home from our gig...
Never a dull moment, eh? Glad you were able to come to the driver's aid, Bb. Where exactly did this occur? Mile marker? A few years back, we were coming down the stretch from the pumice mine to the mail boxes at Sierra Los P and saw a Toyota Suv rolled over on it's side. The driver had caught a ride...

I say bring back the days of bribing an AM radio DJ to play your records.
"Video killed the radio star", or so they say.

Nice ride, oldschool.
Steppenwolf's "Born to Wild" immediately started playing in my head.
Reminds me of a bike I once built in my dinning room when I was in college.

Re: Bear in the yard...
I've heard about some bear sightings in Sierra Los Pinos also, Bb.
I'm seldom out after dark(missus chains me in the basement at sundown), so I don't know what we have out there in the dark.
Anyway, try not to get between mama bear and her cubs when you are out with the dogs.

Nice job, Carsick.
I probably should look into a looper. I could certainly use the teaching/learning aspect of structuring and layering melodies and chord sequences.

Sounds good, guys! I had no trouble telling which part was played by who. But, I wasn't quite sure until the last half of the tune began.

Glad you are back home, Bb. Wondered how you were doing since Saturday. Everybody was asking about you on Monday night.
Talked to my doc yesterday and he said he had been treating a lot of strep cases.

One of my favorite neck/color/pickguard combos, also. Very nice.
