Re: Synthia Size 4
Good Job Viking Blues, very etheral sounding. I think we all struggle with our own style, I know I am always wrestling with that. You hear all these other players that sound so good and you want to play something that sounds like that but it always seems to come out sounding like me, whats with that...

Thanks Guys
Glad your enjoying it! Yeah from the title it sounds like it should be sad. I'm not really good at coming up with titles for instrumental tunes.

Re: hows this for a slight beginner?
Good job Robert, you had some good ideas in there. I think its a good idea to record stuff, it lets you listen back to what you really play. We don't really hear ourselves in the mix when were sitting and noodling over something, I know myself I think WOW that was really cool, then I listen back to ...

I traded the strat for a Gibson faded les paul studio, short scale guitars with 9 and a halfs seem to wor...

Re: What's in the Box?
I know a little theory, probably just enough to get myself in trouble. playing Blues you can get a lot of mileage out of your pentatonic scales maj and minor, listen to the blues greats thats what their doing. the notes you were asking about the c# is the blue note the flat 5, The F is the dominat 7...

Howdy All! New old guy here, actually been lurking around for a while. So a little about myself, been playing off and on for years, I play on a worship team at the church that I attend, I record bluesy song ideas, attend a local blues jam now and then, that sort of stuff. I like Chicago style blues,...
