Re: Epi SG Noodling

It's a warm, round and clean sound from youre guitar. Suits very well to a soft song. Interesting points with height between strings and pickup. That's why the original PU's on the Stratocaster has different height, depending on the string regard. I mean then that each string has its own distance f...

Re: Epi SG Noodling

Indeed the tone choice is really enhanced by the middle pickup. I've read on the internet that this era Korean made Epis had PUs built to match vintage Gibson tone. The pickups do not seem to be muddy and today I noticed they were set up fairly low and as I didn't use a pick in the noodling recordin...

Epi SG Noodling

I can borrow for a while an Epi SG "Les Paul Custom", the 61 reissue that has 3 pickups. Not bad at all, 3 volumes one for each pickup and a master tone. The middle pickup is always on no matter how is the pickup switch but with its own volume it is possible to turn it off when needed. Thi...

Half Brother?

Never heard EC has a brother but in the meantime it's to take with a pinch of salt as the source is a
pretty well known paper that makes money on news like this one.
Not sure if it's true but if it is out of topic or whatever else admins feel free to delete the post.

BB King at Hospital

He didn't feel good after performing shows in Las Vegas, the man is 89.
Seems like there's a trouble between BB's daughter and the manager who has power of attorney over B.B.

Re: Fender Champion 40

A nice one at a pretty good price and cool demo. The looks remind me my Frontman 25R, the same with it very nice cleans but not so good on the 2nd channel unless it's at very low gain or high gain. It sounds weird in between. The deal is the clean channel and its headroom with a pedal or two and it ...

I've read somewhere he uses a Mexican silver Peso and wraps around the strings on his LP tail piece.
