Part of my family in quarantine, myself having a cold (not C. I hope), so time to edit some videos.
The usual noodling and vst playing. Minor/major change over the circle of fifths...

Re: Ambient
Didn't know of this bridge, had to google it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDznkKo3-YI
Sounds really chinese/japanese, you have already mastered it quite good!
Re: Holidays
Well, I didn't have a good time. No Italy this year, no holidays at all.
One of my kids got seriously ill, so we spent the time visiting doctors and finally went to hospital, which then had a lockdown due to Corona.
This is not a good year at all.
Tomorrow back to work.

Re: Ambient
Ambient is Blues, somehow. Well done!
I like psychedelic, ambient or whatever you may call it, when there's a movie inside your head.

Basically A minor pentatonic, 5th fret. E7 D7 Am - that's all you need.
I'll see if I can tab it someday.

Re: Noodling for a short video
Thanks!
Actually it wasn't difficult, I used a i-VII-iv-V progression with some Sonatina VSTi's (great free VST btw!), put a simple drum groove on it and noodled along.
I like your ambient work a lot - sometimes it has a Mike Oldfield touch (and I like MO!). Wonderful!

Re: Noodling for a short video
Another meditative noodling for a video... VSTi drums, sonatina orchestra, bass and a few guitar notes.

R.I.P. Jamie
Legendary drummer and Tulsa native, Jamie Oldaker died at age 68.
He played with EC several times and on several albums.
I like this one with Donald Duck Dunn (known from the Blues Brothers Band):

Not that much, but he seems to be one of your major influences.
