Its a very windy rainy day here in the great pacific northwest, so great excuse to hang out in the music room today! This is a funky blues backing track that I found on a practice tracks cd that I have, I played the lead with my Godin sp90 guitar through a boss gt100 added a little reverb and delay ...

Very Cool! A few times it reminded me of Gary Moore definitely the tone but a couple of the phrase you played sounded very Gary Moore'ish. Sounded great very moody! Dan

Thought I'd post a little update on the Blues band that I joined last spring, ( thread titled Here we go again, new Band ).In the last thread we had played a couple of blues jams and were coming together nicely, then the drummer disappeared almost like in spinal tap! We tried to call a couple of tim...

Re: Dream On A Tweedy Aeolian
VB, I have taken private lessons many times through the years and all have been very helpful. Its been quite some time though since I've taken lessons and have thought some of trying it again but much like you I find myself at a point where its very hard to find someone that really teaches blues gui...
Re: Zoom G3X

Re: Just Chillin'
Hey Guys, thanks I'm glad your liking the tune! I'm really liking the 11 rack, I've had it a month or so although this is the first recording I've done with it. I have played with all the boss and line6 stuff and would love to have an axe fx also but there is no way I can afford even a used one, I'v...

Hey Guys I recently bought an 11 rack, you can get great deals on them on e bay new in the box without the pro tools, just couldn't pass it up. Very easy to tweak and program and they sound really good. This is the first recording I've done using it, BT from my boss micro br80, used my Les Paul stud...

Re: Mayall, Whittington, Clapton
I have the dvd, its a really good one, the first few songs feature Mick Taylor, then Clapton comes out later in the show. Some excellent guitar playing by both Taylor and Clapton, really noticed how Mick Taylor would really take his time building the intensity of his solos also some great slide play...

Re: Driving Blind!
Thanks Guys, I'm really impressed with this little boss recorder, we were set up in a garage more or less in a circle with evrything faceing towards the center except the pa monitors which were in the center facing out towards the drums and bass. I just quickly set the levels on br80 and set it up o...
