Re: Slow C blues Collaboration anyone?
It is! The difference in both tone and playing is quite interesting - and again it's a collab from all over the world!

What a nice axe!
Your strat really will have a bad time now - I know this form mine when I got my semi-hollow (but lately I re-discovered her again).
Have fun with your 339!

Re: Relaxing Weekend?
Did you read about the flood? It happened long time ago, in a little country town, way back in North Berwick It gushed out of the shower, it gushed both night and day The people got worried, they began to cry, 'Lord have mercy, where can we go now?' There were women and there was children, screamin...

Re: Complete the following......
From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verse-chorus_form: Songs that use the same music for the verse and chorus, such as the twelve bar blues, though the lyrics feature different verses and a repeated chorus, are in simple verse-chorus form. But I'll vote for BB's "another twelve" :t...

Re: Notes on Major/Minor chord progressions
The intro sequence sounds right to my ears.
Maybe the opening chords are played a bit lower:
FMaj7: 132211
Eaug: 0x2110 (not Em, it has G# and C)
Search youtube for "a minor affair" and you'll find some nice stuff

Mannish Boy Blues collab anyone?
OK, after phrygian, mixolydian, major and minor  here's a no-brainer: Manish Boy Blues. There's a BT from L. Fritts, I've attached it. It stays in the I all over the song in the key of E, so even I should be able to add a few notes somewhere from the pentatonic that fit... Anyone? :ban...

Re: "My Life"
Clearly not a Blues - but interesting and very well done! Playing and tone sounds perfect to me, I think I would not able to improvise in that arabic scale. And your voice - I would be happy if I could sing that good! It may not be John Lee Hooker (best Blues voice IMHO), but is very remarkab...

Re: Notes on Major/Minor chord progressions
Some thoughts about this BT and cruisemates great analysis: Now - forget that - and lets take a look at a BLUES scales in key of C C Eb F G Bb C This is just the pure minor pentatonic, as you've written below the Blues scale usually (there are more than one definitions of it) contains the Gb as Blue...
