Re: Revalver Blues

Thanks for your input Kalle, really appreciated. Sure I've tried the latest Asio drivers on the external USB sound card but no luck. I can't record anything, it's mute, despite the Asio control panel doesn't report any problem I remember a post you wrote about Audacity 2.0.4-alpha-Aug 18 2013 and it...

Re: Psycodelic music

I remember you posted some jams a bit psychedelic, it fitted your playing well. A guitarsynth is a good tool for ethereal music although a keyboard is a great addition. Years ago I wanted to have a Korg MS20 to create some prog rock backing. Lately Korg reissued it in a smaller size, here is a demo ...

Revalver Blues

After experiencing some hiss with this software and my external cheap sound card, I've tried to find a workaround. I use this external sound card because it has a Line In jack plug, the drawback is that it doesn't work with Asio drivers. My computer has an internal sound card Asio compatible with ju...

Re: Software Amp Simulation

ReValver 4 will need to be locked to a USB device to activate the license. This can be, amongst others, anything from a memory stick, iLok2 (or other dongle), audio interface or USB hard drive. Take care to register the device you wish to use going forward as switching a device is limited to lost, ...

Software Amp Simulation

We were talking about VST amp sims a few days ago. There is a good amp sim software produced by Peavey, Revalver. It can be used in both standalone mode or VST with a DAW. A while ago I tried the version MarkIII of Peavey Revalver, I had a lot of hiss and of course the audio drivers (Windows ones an...

Re: Gone Away Again

A good one VB, beautiful backing track and good playing ! :clap Your playing is a bit different, I mean in a good way, and the BT has the perfect feel/ambiance to reflect the changes. Hope to hear more like this! Being our own musical critics is not an easy thing, like it is said above mo...

Re: FreeAmp 3 VST Plugin

Thanks a lot fellows! :D
Sure VB I've tried a couple of other amp plugins that were not doing good at all.
This one is way better. Good to hear you used it too for "More Clapped Out".
Thanks Michael, I try to apply less is more in my playing when it is possible.
Merry Christmas!

FreeAmp 3 VST Plugin

A slow blues played with the Peerless through the Tonelab in '50s AC15 emulation and FA3 VST plugin added in the DAW.
Still experimenting the features of FA3.
What else? It's free! :D

Re: Even More Clapped Out Than Before

I hesitated to do another update just now - because as you know I'm out of practice on blues and on electric guitar. It's a good thing you decided to do an update so we have the pleasure to hear your electric playing. To my ears it sounds good and there is no clue of being out of practice. Some nic...

Actually I really like slow blues and fortunately there is a drum beat to keep track of the tempo.
I guess that without it, it wouldn't be that easy. :music2:
