Beta: new scale generator

I've modified the scale generator a bit to make comparisons between different scales or chords easier. Just hit "remember" and select a new scale or chord. Both will be displayed. The upper one can be dragged upon the other, if Javascript is enabled. The beta is at: http://12bar.de/php/sca...

Re: Kossoff Collaboration

it is funny bercause blues is not really my thing, although I appreciate the people who can do it. I came to this site originally because it said "Eric Clapton" and he did a lot more than blues. Now it is the 12-bar site. The new name has other reasons, the tutorial is still based on EC's...

Re: Recording guitar with backing track

I think audacity works great. Just open it, load the BT and press record. The BT remains the same, the recorded track is independent and can be processed, if needed. When finished, melt them together or export all tracks. There are many nice shortcuts worth learning, you can loop a part, zoom in qui...

Re: Comfort zone/default jam

The 7#9 chord is also known as Hendrix chord, the G7#9 was used in Purple Haze ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hendrix_chord ).
The E7#9 is well know from the Outside Women Blues ( http://12bar.de/solocream.php#OutsideWomanBlues ). I love it!

BTW - great noodling!

Re: Help! Bad GAS attack!

I have the champ 600 (see other post), it's a neat little amp. No extras, just turn it up and play. Load enough to play to a piano, but not for bigger gigs.
It loves strats, they sound much better than my Epiphone. Very clear sound, little overdrive. Several vids and mods on youtube.

Re: Am I Missing Something with Head Phones?

With headphones there's also no feedback amp - guitar. This may effect the sound on high volumes.
