Re: TAB or Score???

Everyone is right already. To sum up: F# 7 #9 (not F #7 #9) has the notes F#, A#, C#, E, A. The tab shows A#, E, A# (root and 5th omitted). The missing root is played just one step before (9 th fret). Standard notation shows F#, A#, E, A (5th omitted), supposing there is a key signature w...

Re: El Mano Fooling Around on Moonflower!

Although usually I prefer the 335, in this case it's the Fender. But maybe it's the setting? Or it's because it's not a Blues :icon_whoknows:

OT: Just a try - one of my favorite line6 settings as attachment, if it works it would be nice if BB posts his settings for this song!

Re: Fingerstyle noodlin'

Great noodling! You sound quite comfortable with fingerstyle. Good luck on quitting, even EC has done this. I'm glad I've never started.

Maybe we should put some nice line6 presets to the backtrack section!

Fantastic job, VB! I remembered an old Django recording -bingo -, did some research and played a bit to find the scale. The song is from Django Reinhardt (Montagne Sainte-Genviève), chords are for example at http://www.grilles-manouches.net/Html/montagne_ste_genevieve.html or http://www.hotc...

34. The Mahavishnu Orchestra, The Inner Mounting Flame (1971)??????.......Have I missed something here ???? It's John McLaughlin, one of the most skilled (but for me most boring) guitarists out there. His technical skills are unbelievable, but for me there's no soul. Anyway, those lists are fun to ...

Plse no lyrics - it's copyrighted.... :icon_whoknows:
Anyway, the version is not much different to the electric one http://12bar.de/layla.php#keytothehighway - the chords are mainly the same, the rhythm is a bit different.
