Re: Blindboy and the TWBB tryin' to get mellow
This came out much better than I expected. It may be one of our best efforts with that tune, and certainly one of our better efforts for that particular night. I think your tone is great, as always, Bb. It's a pleasure to wreck trains with you.

Re: Sound in Mustang III amp
Larz, I don't own a Mustang amp, but my understanding is that this series of amps has a model of the Fender Twin Reverb amp. This should be one of your cleanest settings. Consult your owner's manual for dialing in the cleanest settings for the Twin Reverb amp. I'll bet you get what you are looking f...

RIP Hubert.
I was lucky enough to see Hubert live twice in the last few years. He will be missed.
Bb, Hubert knew a good'n when he heard one.

Re: Homemade Beer Bottle Slide
And if those Grolsch bottles still exist and are the right size you also get a free strap lock at the same time from the rubber washer on the bottle neck? Yes indeed, VB, I've used those washers for a lot of other projects as well. Oh ! and if you wanna get to wine .....Bob Brozman suggest Mateus 5...

If you keep posting clips of the Okko, you're going to cause me some severe pain in the wallet.

Re: Leadbelly's "Easy Rider"
I've had GFS pups in one of my Teles, not Barden clones, but a hotter Tele bridge pup and a Humbucker neck pup. I was pleased with them.

So, I wonder how the Okko would sound running direct to the board/PA?

Re: Okko Diablo needs
Excellent tone! How did you have the Cyber Twin dialed in? Clean with most of the tone coming out of the Okko and your fingers?

Re: Study Break, a short little piece
This piece has a very Southern Rock style. Think ABB or Marshall Tucker. Way too short, though.

As always a great tune, B2M. I like the way those Barden clones sound, man. Vocals are excellent, also.

Re: Which version???
but the 2nd guitar is way back in the mix even for the solo That's my main problem with this version. Our bass player/recording wiz,Mike/PoppaGString, often complains that he has trouble bringing me foreword in the mix. I always think I am louder on stage than I actually am and worry about stepping...

Re: Which version???
Whoa! Maybe we should cut a version especially for this opportunity? Something more "studio quality" in nature. We have the technology and the space to do it. Version 9/26 is definitely the better of the two versions, but it has a few rough spots that need to be smoothed out. I don't know....

Re: Eric Clapton Signature Amps
Yes - I am leaning toward building a champ kit with a 10" or 12" speaker. I'll probably build the cab, so I can accommodate whatever speaker I want. I have to do some more homework about speakers. Oh heck, just go with a 15" or 2x10's...maybe 2x12's... ...the sky's the limit....
