Re: Collab Blues G7

OK, here is one to use if stratlover is short on time!

It is the sixth spot and it is without the BT but the space is from the very beginning so it should not be too hard to splice in. I hope that makes sense!

Re: Collab Blues G7

Sorry guys, its tax season. Berry, berry busy! :) However, I still am happy to do one, but it has still been a very reasonable amount of time and stratlover is ahead of me so I can be bumped with no hurt feelings!

Now to figure out which file to grab...

I love how you turned this into an instrumental arrangement vs a strait wank fest! Nice job, and I really like the camera angle!

Re: Mangy Old Fox - A (Failed) Experiment

I like the "Foxey" riffage! I really liked the Hardwire CM2, kinda wish I had not sold it to move on to "better" things. What is the modulation, u-vibe or phase?

Nice to hear some "dirtier" offerings!!

Don't you worry, those young upstarts will be gigging with their Garageband Loops!

Sorry about the change in your gig. Hopefully you guys can find a way around it somehow.

Re: Recommend a Jeff Beck album

Blow by Blow and Wired is the two albums that really define his work post Yardbirds.

Guitar Shop cemented him in the 80's as guitar hero status

Get Live at Ronnie Scotts if you want to hear a excellent example of him now!!

Re: Here to learn

Welcome from Alaska! My story is similar to yours. I started playing at 19. First song I learned was "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by the Scorpions. "Crazy Train" by Ozzy lead me to the guitar. It was not long until my ear centered on the Cream. Then somebody gave me a tape and sai...

Re: Cafeteria Blues

Great match of tone to the backing track. You know, your playing at your level is pretty inventive. You don't duplicate yourself to much with licks that are imbedded in muscle memory (I'm guilty of this.) I like this one Michael, nice job!!

Re: Smooth Minor Blues. Help and advice requested :)

Yeah nice playing. You definitely have some skillage! I definitely hear what your after in the second take. The second take it sounds like you are letting the track wash over you, adding your voice to it. You play phrases that say something and develop into sentences. I think Gerd is right, you are ...

Shades of Green aka sans reverb!

Well tytlblues is making me feel lazy with all of his excellent posts so I got off my bum and recorded my contribution for the weekend! This is a Peter Green type backing track and I am trying to play with his style in mind. I have listened to so much of him over the years, I just adore his music! I...
