Re: Original A Minor Blues Backing Track

Well, my worst playing ever... just to finish it. Sitting down, loading Reaper and playing one take. Lack of practice is obvious, lots of notes belonging elsewhere... BUT - I like the "woman tone" kind of sound from my Zoom pedal. Have to fine tune it a bit and play more Blues. Thank...

Re: Original F Minor Backing Track

Finally, a quick recording with my Sherry. Nothing special, just a short relax from work.
The last setting, for the chord arpeggios, uses a preset on my Zoom G1on pedal called - CORONA. :eye_rub:

Re: Lowlife Boogie, The Second Brand - Lookin for a singer !!

Just listened to it and I think there seems to be a sync error between the two tracks - maybe you check the mix? Or is this your intention?

Re: Original F Minor Backing Track

Well, my plan was to use my new toy - a Sennheiser dynamic microphone - and add some acoustic notes to it. Plugged into my Roland interface and used the recommended settings, but the signal is so low I can hardly hear anything during recording (using headphones to avoid recording the backing twice)....

That's some really "dirty" stuff - I had a hard time to follow
Some good ideas in it, but really no "easy listening".
I need to listen again...

Re: Original F Minor Backing Track

Wow - sounds as if you enjoy your retirement! Great playing, both guitar and MIDI. Is that the orchestral MIDI suite you mentioned in an older post? Could go for a movie score!

Back to topic, I'll take a part or two in the next days.

 Fantastic footage! Deep Blues from the heart. Son's biography is incredible, Buddy is still with us.
Thanks for posting!

Buddy also had some fun with a young guy from the UK in 1969...

Re: Goldtop P90 for a G Blues

Happy you enjoy this "more conventional" way of noodling some blues I do. I'm no jazz guy, although I'm listening to some classics more often lately. Sounds strange, but I can listen to John Lee Hooker for hours, while I seldom play for example Wes Montgomery or other jazz albums I have. ...
