Re: the Mojo Boogie

Thanks Blindboy I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was a total spur of the moment jam the other guitar player started and everyone just jumped on it. I had a small recorder running back by the mixing board and was really surprised at how good it sounded when I listened to it the next day. Thanks!

Re: It is what it is

sounds Good MR, you have come a long ways in your playing in the last couple of years since you have been posting stuff here. I think we all are guilty of trying to live up our favorite guitar heros, I know I am. That sounded great nice playing, nice tone, nothing to be ashamed of there! Good Job! Dan

Re: You Ain't Nice

Thanks guys for all the kind words, we're pretty excited to start playing out, we all have played in other bands or played out at blues jams, so it should be a lot of fun. The band as it is now has been getting together once a week since early September. Thanks , I'm glad your liking the song! Dan

You Ain't Nice

Hey Guys, had a couple of posts a while back about the blues band I was a part of starting and promised clips when we got that far. The band has been doing really good, getting ready to start playing out some ( first gig in about 3 weeks), got 2 solid sets of classic Chicago blues covers down. So th...

Re: First Steps in Recording

Yep sounds good, I know I usually recorded with a modeler of some kind generally I'm trying not to make to much noise in the house and sometimes just to lazy to set up an amp but when I use an amp I really notice the difference! Sounds good! Dan

Re: Ambient Blues

Thanks guys, wasn't really looking to build a guitar but got a really good deal on a used warmoth tele body, its a semi hollow body like a tele thinline and its a mahogany back with a maple top, was already routed for P90s, then ended up getting the neck from the same guy, really nice fat neck. I re...

Re: in the groove

Thanks guys, Yes P90s, the lead is my les paul special with p90s and one of the rhythm guitars is a godin with p90s and the other rhythm guitar is a godin with strat style single coils. Tried a little different setup this time, I used a tech 21 blonde character pedal into a holy grail nano reverb pe...
