Late post here. Another example of a great double bender is David Gilmour . Also if you go with bigger strings you may need to file the nut. I went through this with my guitar. Sry if this was already mentioned in another post

I also practice Martial arts, Aikido. In this art we do a lot of stretching the Hands and fingers with specific stretches, because we do joint locks and throws. These stretches are GREAT stretches for guitar playing. Just look up Aikido hand stretches on you tube. They work.

Hey guys, Golfxzq, glad you found a teacher. Figured I'd chime in to tell how I Also self teach. I did take lessions in my 20's but that ended with money issues. 20 years later (about 13 months ago) I picked it up again. I do have a job but the family and job just prevents me from taking proper less...

Strat for me. I mostly play my acustic, but once in a while when I wanna try to play electric and sound like EC (lolo) I just love those single pickups. But then again I love those Hollowbodies too with the Humbugs. Also ya gotta love the SG
I guess It depends on what tone your'e after.
