Re: Your favourite blues record

I don' have one favourite Blues record, there are many and the list changes frequently. Some all time favs are EC's  From the Cradle and the Bluesbreakers or John Lee Hookers The Healer, but some days I listen to BB King as much as Albert and Freddie...

Re: Boss BD-2 with a OS-2

Don't have one, but both are out for a long long time and you find lots of reviews on the net. Very positive, with the BD-2 great for Blues, as expected. Nowadays you can get pedal boards with all of the effects included.

Re: The price of playing the blues

Re: White room improv

Thanks for the details! Yes, Vintage guitars provide good value for money, although I agree, the brand name is stupid (do an internet search and you're lost). A "constantly changing musical taste" in your age is quite normal and very good, you can absorb it all and put it into your playing. :m...

Ramblin'

Just found some old videos of Elizabeth Cotton on YT - an inspiration! She played left handed upside down, finger for bass, thumb for melody. The Cotton pickin' style was named after her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pUdUX5Gagc Even at high age with broken voice her picking is amazing: https://w...

Re: White room improv

Don't care about mistakes, tone and playing shows you're not an absolute beginner!  Maybe you can tell us a bit more about your playing and what gear you used? And then there's is still the old copyright problem. :icon_whoknows: The backing is self made? It's a bit too close to the...

Happy new year! As you may have noticed, the forum was offline after an update. One of the over 6000 php files was broken, not easy to find out which. I'm also updating my tutorial website with a new design to be safe for the next year(s). Like always, if you notice errors or strange behavior...

Funky!
Nice crystal clear sound in the beginning, and the fatter one at the end is also great.

BTW - I don't have a tele yet....
