Ouch! :yikes: To me it sounds as if you can get the HBL sound out of any guitar and amp. Crystal clea...

Re: Currently listening to...

BTW - you know Mike Oldfield didn't sing on on his records, he always hired a singer. Well, not always, back in 1968/69 he had a band with his sister Sally. They recorded the LP "Children of the sun" containing this one with young Mike singing (and playing a nice guitar): https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Room sizes here are that small it's difficult to store them far from a radiator wherever they're placed.
When you have 4 kids with each one having a room all what's left is a small corner in the living room

Re: Blues band tips

With only one gig recently with my "family band" I'm no big help here, but you should keep an eye on your band members during playing. I think the more you play the less you need it, but whenever there's an all-star jam with several solo parts they look at each other to know who's next. Congra...

Re: Getting the hand and fingers back in action

My son's Fender acoustic has a Fishman, not bad considering the price. My guitars are stored next to a radiator for years. I know everyone tells you not to do it, it will shrink the wood and is evil, but it doesn't harm them. No problem with the frets and the tuning is and intonation is stab...
