The only time I warm up right before I continue my learning. What i do it try to find new variations of the basic 12 bar blues and go back and forth for that and the scale. Its probably not the best way to warm up but it always get me to have some fun.

What i remember reading is that he did thumb over also. I tried that myself, i couldn't get it to work correctly for me. Don't call yourself a newbie just because someone else is more knowledgeable than you. I can read in books all i want and gain all the knowledge i can handle about guitars and their theory but that wouldn't help me in actual playing and how much feeling i can put into my playing. :dance: Thank you for the link. My barre chords are sounding better already. Their just little tweaks here and there like me not being able to get a good hold on the second string but other than that, it sounds a lot better than before. :guitarist:
