Tough Times Hans, so sorry to hear about your loss, losses in fact.
At least you have a sister to help you with all that needs to be done.
Condolences to you and your family

Re: Preview Video for JJ Cale tribute
Here's an article from Rolling stone with a great Pic of Eric and JJ , Who were definitely good friends Vlicks, as was Tom Petty, but I don't think any of that really matters ... they have all produced this album as a tribute to a great songwriter. It also includes links to two of the songs from the...

From "Where's Eric" http://www.whereseric.com/eric-clapton-news/303-johnny-winter-dies and as it mentions this track .......... it seems appropriate to post this as a tribute ( I think its from the Crossroads festival) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCApLGaeBdQ&feature=youtu.be Respec...

Another Bluesman Passes Over
Sad to relate that Bluesman Johnny Winter has (Reportedly) Passed over to the Big Gig in the Sky. Age 70 he has been poorly for a while and was reported as deceased at his home in Zurich Switzerland. with a new Collab album due out in September..."Step Back" .. with Collabs with Clapton, B...

A nice noodle HBL Feels like an introduction to ...Something ?? ...its definately alluding to something more coming ........any moment I'm hearing echoes of EC's "River of Tears" and expecting the drums to come in any moment and for it to ramp up into a full song. Reverb HBL :icon_whoknows...

Re: A seemingly poor ending to EC Gig in Scotland
Firstly to round this story off ......it appears in the aftermath of all this that the Problem, which revolved around really bad feedback, wasn't any fault of Clapton's nor his sound team ...but the venues PA system. Again had all this been explained / communicated, promptly by a tour manager /PR pe...

Re: A seemingly poor ending to EC Gig in Scotland
This has just been posted ( a bit late in my opinion ) on the where's Eric site. Quote From Team Clapton regarding Glasgow Concert: "Unfortunately last night we experienced a steadily worsening technical problem with the PA system that the band battled with throughout the show but by the last s...

A seemingly poor ending to EC Gig in Scotland
For what its worth ... a seemingly bad end to an EC Gig in Scotland No idea why or what happened ....but it didn’t seem to end sowell ..could be an exaggeration ..but something didn't go well after 60 seconds of "Cocaine "... .and off he jolly well went ! ..Not Like Eric at all really..(Wa...

Re: Capo and the effect on sound
Capo's and particularly the different styles, seem to be pretty much a personal taste thing. Personally I am not a fan of the old style Elastic band Clamping version as its just too fiddly Some folk swear by the Keyser Clamp and you can pop it on the headstock and look cool when yr not using it) and...

Re: Autumn Leaves
Autumn Leaves is a cracking song .. and Clapton's version is top notch. I searched for ages to find a tab online .. but none of them are Clapton's version and I can't find it in any tab books or EC's stuff either . :icon_whoknows: In the end I bought a tab from www.musicroom.com for about £3.00 I th...
