News update and this might be of interest
Been very hectic lately and haven't posted much but have been lurking and reading posts. Thought it was about time I contributed something and also use the opportunity to give an update on what I've been up to musically over the last year. Myself and our lead Vox/Gtrist Matt have been contracted for...

Re: Another Becca and Blindboy original...
A class act....Casino tone sounds good and certainly fits in the song well, my '72 SG still has the original Gibson Humbuckers and is great for Blues/Rock but at any settings would get nowhere the tone you get from the Casino. (but then again I wouldn't expect it to) and Becca certainly h...

The last track of my latest recording session, we don't do much Funk style so this was a challenge, just about finished just needs some tidying up and backing vocals, A Bit Funky 3 at http://www.soundclick.com/DeltaExpress . Please let me know your opinions. Thanks  (Just about over the mixing...

Can certainly pick the difference between the 2 Gtrs, the Strat certainly stands out (not that the Sheraton doesn't sound good)

New recording - opinions pls
Have been working on some new recordings to freshen up our website, we're getting a fair bit of work with venues wanting more classic rock content at our Gigs so have added extra sets to accomodate. (Warning - this is not a Blues song .. :yikes: ) This a recording we did on my Boss BR-1600, I was al...

Re: I'm going ampless.
Have been following this thread with interest  I have recently been using a Roland VG-99 (VG Guitar System) and also one of the new Roland GR-55 Guitar Synths at our Gigs. These are set up to go straight to FOH Stereo via a Stereo DI box to the Mixing Desk and I tap out a Thru lead from the D...

by BadBluesPlayer » Fri Mar 11, 2011 11:30 pm Like BB King, I'm not a theory guy, just an ear player. It's easier to play like somebody when you learn like them and think like them. So I don't know - in a theoretical way - why his playing sounds so good. But I do know that he learned by singing and...

Well done Strummer !
Technical Comment - Play around with the Pan settings on your DAW for the individual tracks, try panning guitars to Left and Right and leave Vox in the centre. If you do it right you'll get the Vox jumping out at you
