Sorry I've been off air for a bit, but I've been on the low part of my bipolar cycle and don't tend to play when I'm like that. Anyway a couple of weeks ago a friend got me jamming to Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On so I've done a bit of improv over the chords. https://www.box.com/s/4f822ae3cf74175739c6

Re: Kemper Profiling Amp
Well it is a big outlay, but I'm raising by selling gear I no longer use. What attracts me is the authenticity of the profiles both sound-wise and feel-wise. It comes with a stack of amps, cabs and pedals, but on the Kemper Forum people upload their own profiles so I'll end up with masses of amps (i...

Re: MR goes loose
Sorry Michael, but I think this is a step backwards for you. The over-long tumbling phrases lacked the structure and expression that you've been achieving of late.

Excellent stuff TB, though I thought the "badboy" one was very good too. Feel and finesse here in abundance.

Yes those sound links worked. Sounds very good, loads of sustain. Looks brilliant with lots of nice touches especially the bird inlays. Well done sir.

Never tried one, but it looks like a very nice guitar for the money. The sunburst looks great.

Re: Lost Memories
I know exactly where you're coming from vis-a-vis your Dad. I've been looking after my Mum for years now, she has Alzeihmers. Sad business. Anyway don't even think of apologising for the "doom" thing. Your playing was absolutely gorgeous on these tracks. Thoughtful and considered, the righ...

Yo TB, you really let it rip here. Stonkin playing and a huge tone. Exciting stuff to listen to, excellent.

Re: Another standard tuning slide attempt...
I really enjoyed this one BB, I love Elmore James (very possibly the greatest blues singer ever) and this is a very good version and definitely one for your set. You did an amazingly good job on the slide especially as it was your first attempt. It's good to have your band posts on the forum as we d...

Re: Be Boppin Blues
I like this one a lot, a charming piece of happy blues. Your rhythm riff was great and rather original to boot. Your lead playing had a lovely bounce to it and the whole thing worked in spades. You get a gold star from me.
