Guitar Techniques Cream 2005 Licks

Hi guys. Just ordered a years subscription of my favorite magazine. Can't recommend this magazine enough.

I see that one of the back issues contains a segment on Cream licks from the 2005 shows. Anyone know any of these, or have the magazine?

Re: Help me

hehe... that is an excellent breakdown. Thing is, I'm spoiled.

I need a video close up on youtube, and a loop in guitar pro.

one day I'll get those ears to do the work. But it's hard.

Re: Help me

The woodshedding part is on the way. Got 2 hours in already.

Been looking at justinguitar for a lesson on Crossroads. Have been playing for some years now, and can't play one single solo all the way through.

Help me

I've been out travelling for 7 months. Without a guitar! I just got home and now I have people telling me that I need to get back in shape. There's gigs to get ready for. I play lead guitar, or melody, in a cover band. We play everything from Clapton, Creedence, Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling S...

Hi again. Travel blues

Hi guys. Haven't been here for a long time. I guess some of the reason is that with your guidance I have been able to grow, and didn't need to ask so many questions. Reason number two is that I have been travelling for the last 6 months. Without my guitar. Crazy, I know. Don't know what happened in ...

Re: Control nerves?

Thanks guys  I hope that a few beers might calm me down  , but not so much that I lose technique. Hopefully after the first minute everything will be alright. Problem is I'm starting with a slow ballad in major. Phew, big task for a first time appearance  Hopefully there will ...

Re: Chordz n' scalez..

Thanks so much guys, really helpful stuff  I love that I can post a theory question here, and get such a quick and good response  Also, by using the scale generator I can see that A dorian is the same notes as Gmaj. I will try to take another swing at the progression and see if I can com...

Chordz n' scalez..

I'm currently in the works of figuring out some theory... I'm trying to figure out what scales fit with the progression of Gmaj7 - Amin9 (a I-minII progression) With G minor pent, i feel that the 9th from the II-chord doesnt fit... Why is that?... Is a major scale more fitting? Any thoughts would be...

Wow! Looks great

Can't wait to see the finished product

Are you able to make the neck "Clapton-style", as in the V-shape? I've only tried that on the signature strat.. felt quite nice. If I ever made a strat I think I would try out the V-shape

Re: Tools for fixing fret buzz.

Various possibilities - I think a bit more info would help us to advise (if we can!). To try to narrow it down:- 1) Does the low E string buzz only when played opeen or is it on all of or just some of the notes? 2) Does it have the same problem with different gauges of strings (if you've...

In Japan now.

Hi guys, long time no see...

I`m currently travelling in Japan, and soon China. Currently staying in Kyoto.

Would love it if anybody has some tips about blues or general guitar "must see" in either Japan or Kyoto.

Cheers

Customize the scale gen.

Hi all

I've been playing around with some crazy tunings lately, and it gets really comlicated for me when I'm trying to solo as well.

Is there any possibility for a fully customizable tuning-to-fretboard option on the scale generator?

My tuning atm is C#-G#-C#-G#-Bb-Eb ...
