Re: Hello from Colorado

Welcome on board! :welcome:

I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun once you get used to the smaller neck!
It may take a bit longer to get into the world of improvisation but it's worth the time. :music2:

Re: From line6 to Amplitube to Zoom...

Good news - I found a freeware which can control the Zoom G1on:
https://tonelib.net/
It works with other Zoom devices, too.
So the G1on is cheap, sounds great and is easy to control

Re: From line6 to Amplitube to Zoom...

Thanks Fenson! :shy: I like the Fender Twin sim most, although it's not completely tweaked. I wish the USB connection could be used to control and store the settings, the LCD and the knobs are a bit small  Claptonian pentatonic is all I can - he made me want to play guitar  There are...

VB's no rules Celtic Blues!

First one makes me thinking of the Mississippi Delta, hearing the second one I'm somewhere in the Scottish Highlands... wonderful.

Tone is great, too!

From line6 to Amplitube to Zoom...

I've posted already about my sound problems after the recent Win10 updates. I've quit with line6 and podfarm because I couldn't get it to work. I tried some programs that are free or came with my Roland Duo Capture: Guitar Rig and Amplitube. I stayed with the later and got it running with Audacity a...

Re: Windows update 1803 problems

OK, so I wanted to record some Blues for lost dogs (see other thread), but... :wall: Next Win10 update, this time other problems. The cracks are back, I also get a second tone half a second later and a semitone deeper. Seems to be related to 44.1 kHz, but all settings are OK, both system and line 6 ...

Re: The Life Timer Emptied

Sometimes life is hard - I'm just back from hospital, my second daughter suddenly felt ill and needed an appendectomy. It was only a few hours from a nice weekend to the operating room. Luckily everything went fine, just in time. A few hours later and...

Re: The Life Timer Emptied

Very sad news indeed, but you have done the last good thing you can do. We had a cat for over 12 years and had to do the same, it got worse everyday.
Your first tribute is very dark and minimalistic, but captured your current mood very well.

RIP Aretha

The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin has died at the age of 76. :tears:

Her appearance in the BB movie was one of the highlights.
One of the best female singers of all time.
