Re: Which version???
Wow!! This is a great opportunity and I suggest you polish up a special version for it (just my 2 cents worth). Keep in mind that most radio listeners are double-tasking. They are busy doing something else while the radio is playing your music. You need to catch their attention because they are not ...

Re: Got a new toy!
Now there's something else I never shoulda got rid of. You make it sound like I never could. My son's got one he says I can borrow but it's just something else to learn! I never got the hang of mine so I sold it! This tune ('specially you and the wah) sounds great. I'd buy another drink to hang out ...

Cool song Blackhorse! That Martin sure makes nice sounds in your hands. Got any more of these tunes for us?
Re: CBGAS!!!
Thanks guys. I have a Luthier friend who has been claiming his next project will be a roundneck resonator (with me in mind of course). That was months ago. I have no doubt he will build it. I just wonder if I'll still be alive when it's done. He's a meticulous craftsman and takes his time. Then ther...

Great cartoon on your website. Kinda looks like my truck, at least in it's present condition!
Singer is definitely prettier than the rest of you.

CBGAS!!!
Well, I've been wanting a resonator guitar for years... I finally decided enough is enough and made one, well kind of made one. I scraped all the spare junk I could find and made the cigar box my friend Eve gave me into a Cigar Box Resonator fretless 3-string! I had to buy two used 1 quart stainless...

Electric start panhead! What tranny's that (6-speed?). Hydraulic disc brakes on the rear in a rigid frame. Sure ain't a '65. And that's the only year the factory made an electric start pan and it was a swing arm rear. I run the stock "rocker" foot clutch on my '51 with a non-ratchet 4-spee...

The better you get at what you do, the more these kinds of people come out of the woodwork! In the visual and literary arts they tell you to get used to rejection. Reason being most of it comes from individuals like this who don't really have a clue but can't resist saying something. Tells me alot a...

You are a very prolific craftsman ElMano! The Woodycaster is Wonderfully Stratifying! Looks beautiful (they all do) and I bet it's gonna sound great too. Do you have time left to play ???? I was wondering the same thing. Hope we get to hear some of your projectband's music. Sounds like a lotta fun!

Re: John Dowland variations and connections to the blues
Just watched a couple of your vids on youtube and who do I find when I click over here? I liked your slow blues solo. Gonna watch more of 'em when I get time. That kind of crossover approach to the John Dowland Lute music is a cool idea. Nice slide on it!

Re: Cigarocaster/Stratobox, looped
Thanks for the kind comments. Somebody choke me if I start to hum again! I thought I heard some JJ Cale licks in your playing, It's probably unconscious. I couldn't get him outta my head for awhile in the seventies. Liked him alot. So all you need are 6 strings, a pickup and something to keep it in ...

Cigarocaster/Stratobox, looped
Here's my Strat build with a demo for you. Pretty goofy demo at that! I know I should NOT hum and I should tune my guitar but hey, sometimes everything just doesn't quite pull together. This guitar was an anniversary gift for my wife and this video is to prove to her that it really works. It has an ...

I listened to the first one thinking "how can it be better than this?", and geeze... So much more touch and emotion! Like wine in the bottle getting better with time. Happy Anniversary!
