Hey Mac .... Did you upload the song somewhere??
I did a quick look in the blues room and also in the backing tracks and didn't see a "RockabillyBlues".
Is it there, and I just missed it?
I would have to listen to it first to see IF (big "IF") I could do anything.
Almost forgot - since my recorder is not working right now - anything I do would have to be done on an amp sim program - like my Line 6 GuitarPort Gearbox - if that's acceptable.

Hi Mac,
I have downloaded it.
It may just be my system - but I'm getting an overriding background hum.
Enough so that it makes it very difficult to hear the music.
I am trying to find a way to eliminate, or at least reduce, the background hum, while leaving the music.
So far, I haven't had any success. When I filter it enough to take out the hum, the music goes too.
Any ideas?? Anyone??

Hi Mac,
I worked on trying to reduce the hum.
From what I could see from working with it, it seems to be a strong 60hz and below hum.
The result is uploaded in the blues room at:
http://12bar.de/forum/uploaded/RockabillyBlues1.mp3
No ideas on a lead yet.
Let me know what you think of it. If you don't like what I did to your song, I'll try to delete it.
Just trying to help.![]()

Why/how did the link change ????

When I uploaded the revised song - there was a link shown for the song.
I copied that and pasted it into the message above.
What did I do wrong? ![]()
If you wouldn't mind telling me - I would like to know so that I don't do the same thing again later.
Mac, ... I did try a few times to play some lead over your song, but it just hasn't sounded right to me yet. Sorry.
