Hello.

Post by Shuffle »

Hello fellow Forumites!
I stumbled across this website while googling for Blues tutorials. This is more than one could dream of.
I`m a keyboard player who wants to learn playing Blues guitar. So I took the plunge and bought a Fender Telecaster that is quite ugly (rusty and the paint partly stripped-off) but sounds right to me. To accompany it I built a small tube combo amp that appeared to be way too loud for the living-room when cranked up. But it is enough to learn playing rythms and chords late in the evening at a low sound Level. I hope That there will come the day when I can play some Blues songs on my guitar for you.

Greetings,
Shuffle

:welcome: Shuffle - hope you enjoy it here.

I know what you mean about the amazement of finding this site - everything a blues fan could ask for.

A Telecaster should do you well for blues - and a self-build tube amp - that's serious work done there.

:welcome: Shuffle. Great to have you around. Don't worry about being new to the guitar, there a lot of us beginners here. Along with a whole host of great experienced players. You can pretty much get any question you have about playing blues answered here. I too am anxious to see your Tele. I have had Teli GAS for a while now. Yours sounds like just what I am hoping to find.
