Hesitation Blues

Here is me and my brother jamming on the old Reverend Gary Davis classic. Neither one of us do this tune as a regular thing, but it was something that we could come together on. I have been spending some time here in Oklahoma with my two brothers, trying to settle our father's affairs, and we have been able to do a bit of picking.

That worked very well - no suggestion that it was something unrehearsed at all!

Nice use of ornamentation and fills too. All very relaxed and smooth flowing.

Thanks, fellers...
This kind of playing is outside of my comfort zone. I used to do a lot of this about fifteen years ago, but I haven't done any acoustic stuff in years. Having my brothers handy and the guitar that my dad played throughout my childhood kind of got me fired up. I could wish that my singing was better...

Not having done any acoustic stuff for years hasn't cramped your style now you've come back to it.

I'm sure the guitar enjoyed your playing too.
