Re: RIP BB
Very sad news indeed.
The news cast a pall of gloom over me all day yesterday, which lingers today - the world is a less musical and happy place now. Such a unique and wonderful guitar player and indeed singer too.
A master of "less is more". Admirable in his positive outlook and his lack of anger about what life (and people) had thrown at him in his younger days.
The fact that he was still touring last year shows how he lived for the music and a workload of often over 300 shows a year showed his passion for it. Add in his suffering from diabetes for the last 25 years and it's incredible he got to 89 years.
Lucille is now silenced forever. RIP BB.

Re: RIP BB
I'm just back from a short internet-free trip and I'm shocked by this news. We've lost the King of Blues, and although he was 89 and suffering from diabetes already for a long time it's still hard to realize that one of the last Blues originals is gone forever.
I hope the three Kings can now jam together in heaven.

Re: RIP BB
Seems like he lived the life he wanted to, making music and enjoying that very much.
