Fantastic. You should be proud of your son's musicality. My grandmother was an accomplished organist but I think the musical gene ended with her.

Pipe organs amaze me though I confess that I know very little about them. Towards the end the organist reaches over with his left hand to pull a knob. What's that do?
Cheers!

Kind of a pickup switch for organs
I controls which organ pipes are used in a pipe organ. We have many old organs (several hundred years old) in our churches here.

Excellent playing and fine control of the keyboard.

It's difficult enough to try and play a keyboard, but add all those pedals and also all those tonal adjustment controls :yikes:
- a long, long way from simple.

Lovely sounds.

Nice to have a son who has taken to playing music so well. My Dad was very keen on playing piano, and I can't keep away from guitars, but I don;t think either of my sons are ever going to develop a taste for playing music. However, at least they humour me and my obsession.

He now studies music (lectureship/teacher) and plays guitar, piano and drums as well. Two of my daughters also started with flute and piano so there's always music in our house. :music2:

...... and another piece of classy playing too!

I like these types of churches - quite simple and not too ornate and a feeling of calm about them.

Meanwhile my son is creating his own music videos.
This is his latest one, he is playing piano, guitar and drum and is singing, too... :eye_rub:
You might find some familiar tunes in it.
