It could have been bad...

Well, Saturday night, we played at the restaurant and had a large number of guest artists and audience. (It's a holiday weekend) Some friends of mine from Albuquerque were playing at the bar across the street (where we used to play) so I went over to watch them. They were a killer three piece and sounded awesome! I was invited to sit in... it was the first time I have played at this bar in years, since we parted ways on a bad note. I got up with my little modded fender amp and my Casino and played a few songs, having a great time. I set my Casino down (carefully, I have busted a guitar on this stage before) and as I hopped off of the stage, my foot caught on the cord and yanked my guitar off of the stage. It's about a four foot drop and I was unable to catch it before it hit the ground. I picked it up and checked it over and it seemed all right so I put it back up on the stage by my amp. Later, when they invited me back up for a couple more songs, the dang thing was still in tune! No damage, thank goodness, except a volume knob fell off. They found it and saved it for me.
