This is my dream guitar
Re: This is my dream guitar
That is a nice guitar! I owend an Es 335 to and i love it for its sound. But on stage i don't use it to much because of it's size. My dream guitar is almost ready and build by my self, as you know. All the spec's i want in to a Guitar is custom made Like the size, shape and spacing of the neck. The materials, the string trough like on the Gibson Nigthhawk etc. I don't know if i keep the Pick ups in it that i bought for this guitar. A Paf and a '59. ( the same as in my ES 335) Maybe i gonna put some P90's in this one later on.

Nice choice MR. The list is sometimes endless with me!!!
I've always hankered after a -

Mostly it's semi-acoustics seem to call me because of their looks.
If it was a solid body - the idea of one of these appeals -

But having said that - I'm enjoying my Hagstrom and PRS SE a lot these days - and the thought of any more guitars (for a change) is not on my mind at all.
I can understand that your dream guitar could be one made by yourself as you're a real crafstsman ElMano. I'm just a hack and am totally shocked if anything I try to build is even just adequate.

I'm a 335 guy, too.
But could not afford it, so I'm happy with my Sheraton.

Nice guitar you have chosen.
I don't afford a gibson 335, it's just a dream. I have to stick to my Hagström Viking Deluxe witch work fine.

Re: This is my dream guitar
Twenty five years ago I borrowed a Gibson 335 from a friend for about a year. It was a cherry red that he bought new in 1964 and put under his bed. It had almost never been played... What a sweet guitar! I tried for years to buy or trade that guitar from him, but he just put it back under his bed.
