Your father would be proud of it - played with so much soul and power. A great Blues for a sad reason.

A very soulful piece of music and a fine tribute Tom!

I'm sure your father would be proud of the feelings you brought into the recording.

It will soon be 4 years since my father passed away early in 2013. I did find some release in playing music inspired by thoughts of him. I'm glad you found a way of expressing your sadness and hopefully it's helping you to cope with those feelings too.

Unfortunatley, my internet connection won't let me listen to the song. :wall:
I, too lost my father less than a year ago, and was fortunate enough to have a band and a venue that let me play my heart out on the night that I found out. As John Lee Hooker put it: The Blues is the Healer.

My father reach 102 last august, and he's still playing the piano sometimes but most likely prefers listen to his family to play his favorite tunes :D

Great tribute Tom
