I like the description "Just a jam"!
"Just a very good jam" would be a better description .... the invention to your lead playing is remarkable. Great mix of dynamics and speed and good smattering of double notes thrown in judiciously, along with some nice octave work.
Couldn't help but notice some very nice tone and sustain from the Strat - what was between it and the recording software?

Thanks VB....this was recorded with an American Strat, Fender deluxe reverb amp, with the speaker out going into an attenuator (should never play a tube amp with no speaker attached) , and that into my usb card, reverb and echo added in the DAW....simple set up, but I still get response of a tube amp while recording...VikingBlues wrote: I like the description "Just a jam"!

Thanks for the info Tytl. Yes - not a good idea to play the tube amp with the speaker disconnected!!!!tytlblues wrote:Thanks VB....this was recorded with an American Strat, Fender deluxe reverb amp, with the speaker out going into an attenuator (should never play a tube amp with no speaker attached) , and that into my usb card, reverb and echo added in the DAW....simple set up, but I still get response of a tube amp while recording...VikingBlues wrote: I like the description "Just a jam"!

An attenuator is very useful indeed if you can get one that doesn't suck the tone from the amp! Your attenuator certainly sounds like it does the job just fine.
I did once have a tube amp with a built in attenuator, but there was a definite downgrading of tone with each stage of attenuation. I use a Weber Micro Mass these days, which is very transparent, and it's great for cranking things up to get the tubes reacting and at the same time avoiding calls to the police by neighbours!
