Tonight I Need The blues

Post by tytlblues »

Hello all....I have been quite tardy lately! I have taken a long break from playing, and am ready to post something up! I received a new American Special Strat over the holidays, and it has inspired me to play some!! Here is a slow blues on the Strat, hope you like it!

Very nice. It's good to hear that Texas Tytlblues sound again.
Congratulations on the new Strat. Glad it got you fired up to play again.

I think the new American Special Strat has worked its magic - you're certainly playing it with feeling.

I love slow blues and this is a very classy slow blues. Albeit with flurries of notes that scurry and nip along at a fair old lick. :eye_rub:

Great tone, and great phrasing - good to hear your work back on the forum.

Congrats to the new toy!
The sound reminds me of EC's trouble trouble during the 70's. Nice, sharp and clear!

Sure, it's very much the blues you squeezing the Stratocaster. That sounds good..........

I intend to do as you have done. Take a long break from the guitars.

Yes indeed. Some of the once regular posters / visitors are now occasionally popping in, some are just very busy in this ever more hectic world, some have moved to different music styles, and some unfortunately have passed away.

We don't seem to have had many new members that have become regular posters.

There's a good few guitar forums that seem a good deal less busy than they were - I suspect it's partly that some are now too involved in social media sites to have time for forums.

It sometimes takes a while for a few responses to appear on a thread. 4 responses on day one is pretty good in fact! :D

Great blues. Played with restraint with usual Tytl 'surprises'. Love it!
