Blues Mudley - resonator

Post by CarsickPhil »

Dear all

I've been away for while and wondered if you'd be interested in some low-tech country blues on a resonator. The palm damping is a bit heavy as the bridge guard on a resonator makes it impossible to get really close to the bridge. Anyway, please see what you think and let me know.

All the best

Phil

Hi Phil - know what you mean about the resonator bridge, :wall: but it's worth the struggle to get "that" reso sort of sound.

Very musical and very bluesy - good one!

Here you have worked part I think. It sounds great and reasonably confident. Have you worked a long time to get to this song?

As a question completely disconnected music. I think the guitar looks small is that, or are you a big man?

Very nicely played!
Love the sound you are getting from that little reso. I've been playing mine again a bit, but bottleneck style.
