Gmajor and Mystery amp

Post by HalfBlindLefty »

Next sound Demo.

Simple BT, Am, DM and EM. First lady, Gmajor (Compressor and Chorus) and the amp to identify.
Lead, First Lady, Gmajor (Compressor and Delay) and again the new amp.

Those Boogie tubes.... don't let them keep you on the wrong track.

Yes, it's a amp with a lot of punch and the reverb is only at 5

It sounds very Fenderish in this clip...
Is it a Fender pro reverb?
I guess they have 6L6 tubes.

Otherwise very nice tone you get from this mistery amp.

It does sound Fenderish with those glassy chimes and bells, doesn't it :)
It's not a Pro reverb though.
The amp was build in the previous century, has 2 channels and is equipped with a single 12"" speaker.

Whatever the amp is it sounds great, a beautifully pure sound. Very tasteful playing.

This song can fit in to a movie/film. Foggy day with lot of calm. Nice sounding stuff you have at home. Delay allways work with slow songs it litfts it up.

Hmmm... Marshall used tube retaining clips like that, but they also used EL-34s'. Maybe a Yamaha? :icon_whoknows:

No, sorry.

Try thinking out of the box a little I know they've been produced for a short period and you don't find much info on the web about them.
12" speaker, 2 channel (well sort of) solid state rectifier
