Restoring the SG

The guitar on the left is my 1969 Gibson SG Pro. This was my first good guitar. I got it back in the middle '80's for $150. It had had a neck repair, Grover tuners, heavy metal pickups (it came with P-90's), and the bridge/tremelo was missing pieces. Over the years it has had several different pickups and I changed the bridge and tailpiece. (Did a poor job of it, too. It won't intonate right so it is a slide only guitar now. ) Now, a friend of mine has it and is replacing the pickups with a pair of Gibson humbuckers from 1980 and is replacing the bridge/tailpiece with a NOS Wilkinson wrap around bridge. All this for under $200! I can't wait to get it back!
