First lady back in the house :)

Post by HalfBlindLefty »

Yup, she's been out for over two weeks.
Reason ? well, High E kept dropping of the fretboard when I played it.
Buzzing sounds with the high E and the B strings
A thin/small crack on the upper side ( looking when holding in playing position) of the neck pocket.

It was doctors time for her.

Well he did a awesome job. She now plays as great and sounds even sweeter then before.
Didn't play to much, but managed to record some chops for a minute or so.

I even can get the "Leaving spaces"sound again ( after not having Elixirs strung) :chicken:

Some shielding was done also.

Excellent!
I am going to have to have the FrankenStrat refretted before too long. :yikes: I did it myself on my old Gibson es-125 but I plan to take the Strat to a real luthier.
