I have a small GAS
Hi
I have a small GAS but nix, nop and no money at all but I will save.
I rely on the advice of a member are in this forum who have experience with these pickups. Is this something to trust? All I can hear is a file from Thomman.de Some statements? Good and bad experiences are welcome.

Re: I have a small GAS
I've heard these pickups on Youtube and they are great! Very Straty like EC Blackie.
I have a Strat with the Fender '69 pickups and they do sound very good.
In the meantime, the tremolo block has some huge influence on the tone, cold rolled steel ones are highly regarded like the ones made by Callahan.
Sometimes replacing the block really improves the guitar response and tone especially if you have the alloy block.
Depending on your guitar you may want to try that mod first.
Otherwise the amp is the main part of the tone and quite often overlooked, if you play on a modelling gizmo like me I bet you know about that ;-)

Re: I have a small GAS
It's not longer a small GAS It's a normal BIG one. I realy need this David Gilmor stuff. I can't play like DG but I need the sound and the fact that the preamp that reside inside the guitar will do a good jobb. One problem. Don't have the money, yet. I have to wait in agony. S**H !!

I won't be of any help... Just go for the DG20 pickup set or an old Clapton Strat Lace Sensor pickup set with the mid boost!MichaelRobinson wrote:Well .... I have watched and listened to your advice. Meanwhile, I have found this also interests me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcMe1L0-f5A

Today I'm not so sure about any GAS at all. My GAS is comming and going when I start to think; " Do I need this ? "
