New to me

Post by MichaelRobinson »

I was inspired by Bellogi's music, so now I have for the first time in my life tried me on playing guitar nonstandard tuned. It's got the old man to be a little nicer and a better mood. I feel like a teenager. I try to get the best out of it.

Thank's Bellogi. It's realy fun to just improvise as if I know what I'm doing, witch I'm not, but for now, I don't care.

This is how I tuned my acustic. A totaly new world opend up.

1st: E = D
2nd: B = A
3rd: G = F# (Gb)
4th: D = D
5th: A = A
6th: E = D

Altered tunings on an acoustic guitar is a wonderful world!

Gets away from the rut of playing the same chords and lines over and over again. Brings new resonances and note combinations that can sound so rich and full too.

Enjoy the new world Michael.
An improv a day keeps the demons at bay!
