Howdy from Tennesee

Post by LilShane »

:icon_whoknows: Thanks for having such a wonderful site. I'm learning more today than I have all year. I'm 43 and have just started playing. Haven't spent much money yet. Just have a starter set by fender (the Squire) and a decent flattop that I got a great deal on. So far the only blues I've got down fairly well are E7 A7 E7 B7 A7 E7 rythym and the blues shuffle(though the 2nd and 6th fret stretch still haunts me). Got a few licks here and the but after a few months studying yall I ought to pick something up. Ti..mm Time...Timing needs some work , but those backing tracks are like well worn highways that are staring on my long journey to the crossroads. Keep it Blue.

:welcome: to the forum LilShane.

You've found a good place to learn and they're a real friendly bunch here.

Long live backing tracks!

Hi Lilshane ...........welcome to 12 bar from the UK

Enjoy ..........in another thread you mention Driftin' Blues ...look forward to hearing a bit of that as and when you up to speed.

I think you'll find a few more folk from your neck of the woods resident here.....but we are a pretty international group

Have fun

:welcome: LilShane... great place to be if you love Blues. It's the best site for sharing, asking questions, and learning to improve your playing. We even have loads of fun.

BTW... I'm in Franklin, just south of Nashville. How about you?
