The Friendly 12bar Blues Guitar Forum

Hi, new here and just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I've gotten so much use out of the resources on 12bar, and although I feel pretty dumb admitting this, it was only earlier this month that I even realized that the site had a forum! Apparently my powers of observation are seriously lacking. Anyway, I live in Northern Virginia, I'm 38 and have been playing for about 22 years now, primarily blues rock (and some classic/early hard rock). Looking forward to talking to you folks!

I infer from your handle that you're a Trower fan. I have seen him several times. At one memorable gig, where he was opening for Johnny Winter, I got caught up in an alarming episode in the parking lot, involving thrown beer bottles and gunfire.
