Re: Spam attacks
I've changed the Q&A question to a more challenging one - IF those are no bots. Let's see. The 'net is reporting spam floods all over the world by humans.

Spam attacks
Hi folks, whenever you see someone obviously spamming - please don't react, don't post anything. I delete spammers including their posts with one click, as long as no one else replied. Even if I'm busy and it may take a day or two... We also have HBL as mod (thanks a lot!), who loves to terminate th...

Re: PC Crash
Well, XP is 10 years old and since SP3 a very good and stable system. Most of the XP stuff works, even the gearbox, it's just the volume thing. Line 6 hasn't released true 64bit Win7 drivers yet.
I asked line6, let's wait. http://line6.com/community/thread/53863

They don't
The volume settings in W7 don't affect the gearbox in any way - it's always 100%.

However, its hard to get the full effect when i'm sitting here today at 68 degrees Farenteit. (Gotta love Texas!) :yikes: Well at least most of the snow is now gone. :xmas_1: And I've got most of my data restored. Line6 Gearbox is working, but I have to adjust the recording settings. That's so great - being able to sing, play and still have your own style. Sounds fantastic, like HBL said very authentic. Keep on!

Re: G'day and What version of "Have you ever loved a woman"
A bit late, but
You may know http://12bar.de/hyelaw.php - my favo(u)rite version is still the one from Layla, and there's also a breathtaking version from 1966 with the Bluesbreakers and a good one from the NBTB era.
Freddies versions are classic, sure.

PC Crash
I'm trying to write this for the xth time, as my PC crashes every few seconds for unknown (hardware) reason. Will get a new one this week.
(And yes, I tried to change hardware things, but it is somewhere over the mainboard itself).
See ya...

At least your guitar didn't fail to sing
Your playing reminds me of the Albert King part of Jimi - very soulful.
