Re: Slide Lessons Intentions

Oooooooooooh Viking...........Dude......that just oooooooozes Delta blues baby! :bb: I have always been a bit scared of the whole slide thing, alternate tunings and all that magic, but you have got the feel nailed! Sounds really good, and I think you have made great progress. The backing track is pr...

Re: C Maj Blues BT with horns

SO........I got home and was preparing this BT to upload, and somehow ended up putting a new set of strings on the Strat. Nothing gets you fired up to play like a twangy new set of strings! Decided to take another cut and post a new blues in C. Going for a little grittier SRV style sound. Hope this ...

Hey mojojim, thanks and I know round rock well. Have been up there many a time for a youth soccer game.
Maybe a jam session is in order sometime in the future.

There is a wonderful positive vibe here, that sort of gives you a good feeling and lets you hang your playing out there, g...

Re: Strait Jacket

Nice track Viking. Very nice tone i might add. Nice relaxing melody line, and smooth playing.
In my humble opinion , the lead line could be mixed a bit louder against the backing track.
great job though.

Re: Gravitating BT

Thanks Viking for the compliment! It is a Mexican Strat, Fender 69 custom pickups, recorded into a small Tascam USB interface and then into Garage Band. Just a bit of echo and reverb. No amp model....just clean.

Re: Gravitating BT

Wow....!!!! some awesome playing on these tracks. Very inspirational and makes you want to play. Thanks for posting this backing track. Thought I would throw a version in the mix. Some missed bends, string noise, and clunker notes.......but hey? :music http://12bar.de/community/download/file.php?id=...
