And one more bit of info, you don't have to have all the strings ringing pure and unhindered. I think thats a trap for the beginner! Get your shape going where you need to chord and the nut will crack.

Recommend a Jeff Beck album

Hi guys, I've not heard much of the work by Jeff Beck. In my readings and discussions his name pops up more and more. What's a good album to get that will give a pretty good introduction to his work and style?

Yep, I love this site too, been here for over a year. The stuff here is fantastic for anyone wanting to lean to play the blues. Love SRV, he use to spend a bit of time in New Zealand, he had a kiwi girlfriend before he died. Check out the book that compiles his interviews with Guitar Player, got it ...
